I’d like to remove/add some of the property details. Is there a way to do this?

On the home page, listings archive page, or individual property listings? If you can post a link to your site and what specifically you’re wanting to change I can get you more info.

Hi – thanks for the response. I’m referring to the individual property details. The site I’m building is for a real estate agent in Mexico. They do not use MLS listings, nor addresses, etc. I’ve not used the individual property details so far because many of the fields do not apply.

Ah, I gotcha. I know you could hide them with CSS (i.e. adding
display: none;to those elements, but that’s probably a little janky.
You might check the AgentPress Listings support forum to see if you can find the answer there.
If you ever need anything removed from the home page I could help there 🙂

Since you’re offering… the background image seems to be screened with grey, making the photo quite dull. I can’t see anything in the CSS that would create this affect. Do you know what causes is?

Hey! That’s right in my wheelhouse – I actually answered the same question earlier today in a different post here -> https://www.winningagent.com/forums/topic/home-page-image-filter/
Basically, the RGBA values stand for an RGB value (0, 0, 0 is black) a the “A” denotes the level of transparency with 1 being no transparency and 0 being fully transparent. So, in the case of the theme, it’s written it with a .4 level of black laying over the image. You could change it to white for instance by rewriting it as (255, 255, 255, .4).
Or you could remove that overlay altogether. I originally added it so any text overlays would stand out better, regardless of the darkness/lightness of the photo used.

I am facing the same problem as mentioned above. I am creating a commercial property site and do not need a few of the detail fields. To make it easier I can simply change the names to something else.
For instance I would like to change “Bedrooms” to “Lot Size”. I do not see this in any of the PHP files.
Can you provide instructions on how to change the details?

This is actually in the AgentPress Listings plugin code for the listings post type. That said you don’t want to alter the plugin code since if it has an update you will lose your changes. I’m guessing that is a common question for the plugin so I recommend browsing and/or posting a question to the AgentPress Listings plugin support here:

Completely a hack – and not the best option as it will be written over with plugin updates,
but I edited the plugin file class-listings.php to remove the property details. I realize this is not the best answer, but honesty – it was holding up my progress. I’ll continue looking for a *better* solution.
Hope that helps!

I might do that, but I think it might even be better to avoid showing the standard property detail, and just put the details in the regular text area. Easier to change and adjust as well 🙂
But thanks anyhow!!
