KeymasterOn a site I am building I have different sections – Buyers, Sellers, Communities.
When I create a page in IDX it automatically grabs the Primary sidebar. Even if I go into the IDX created WordPress page and select a custom sidebar, it displays the Primary sidebar.
Is there a way to assign a custom sidebar to IDX generate pages?
For example:
Community (city) page created using Winning Agent Community Post section: http://linkedintuition.com/community/brookhaven/
**This has the preferred community sidebar I want. But from a IDX widget perspective I can only create showcase listings instead of default listings. Plus once you click on a listing, all of the links on the property page go to idx links (clicking on Back to Search results goes to a different page than above link)
Community (City) page created in IDX: http://gordonstreetrealty.idxbroker.com/i/brookhaven
**This page has the listing style I like, but defaults to the Primary Sidebar.

ParticipantHi there,
Did you get this resolved? If you’d like to show different sidebars on different pages, you can do this with the Genesis Simple Sidebars plugin. If I’m totally off base please let me know 🙂

KeymasterGinger,
Your answer isn’t off base as I’m using simple sidebar plugin to set different sidebars for buyers and sellers.
Where that doesn’t work is on the Search Result pages driven by the idx integration. For example a community page created in the idx system: http://gordonstreetrealty.idxbroker.com/i/brookhaven
How can I control the sidebar on this page. Setting the sidebar on the page itself does not work. It still grabs the default primary sidebar even if its set to one of the sidebars I created using simple sidebars.

ParticipantHmm, OK, I see now. I believe links and searches can have their own wrapper page instead of using the global wrapper page. Does this make sense? Can you share how/where in the IDX Broker account you created your http://gordonstreetrealty.idxbroker.com/i/brookhaven link? I would like to duplicate what you are doing so I can offer better suggestions for you and also for other IDX Broker customers checking out our forum.
Thanks!

KeymasterThe Brookhaven link was created under Preferences > Saved Links.
I do notice in the account level we have that under Wrappers Management the tab for Saved Links is not enabled (enabled for Global, Categories and Pages). So not sure if we can apply a different wrapper to Saved Links.
Also under Pages with our account we can not create any new Pages. (restricted)
