ParticipantHi there,
Your site looks sharp! I like your custom colors. It would be great if you can post in the showcase forum and show it off 🙂
We offer a search bar config service for any IDX including Diverse Solutions. We can turn this around usually in less than 1 day, but we guarantee 2 business days. If you’d like to purchase, click on the link below and put us to work!

ParticipantHello MRADAM25,
I navigated to http://lazzararealestate.com/ and it appears you did not manage to integrate the dsIDXpress plugin into this site.Hi Ginger,
I clicked on the link you provided, https://my.winningagent.com/downloads/custom-search-box-idx-integration/ , hoping to click on the dotted line, only to read that you longer integrate dsIDXpress into WordPress websites. Oh well, there is always AgentPressPro.

KeymasterHi Peter, the thread you are responding to is outdated…at the time we were doing the styling for Diverse when Ginger left the comment. Although I do not know if we did the styling for Mradam25, I do know that we stopped offering it as a paid service.
This position was taken because when Diverse updated their plugins, it would often times wipe out any custom css done and thereby make any custom coding inoperative. After this happened a few different times (and we fixed it for no cost) we made the decision to longer offer a service in where people pay for something that could be destroyed when a plugin is updated
That said…..we could do the search box for Diverse but have taken the position not to, as updates could make our clients unhappy…and we like happy clients…
Also, it would not matter if you were using Winning Agent or Agent Press – it would be the same result…
Our suggestion is to choose another IDX Integration…

ParticipantHi Ryan,
Many thanks for your prompt reply. Your reasoning makes sense. Thanks for sharing. I myself have recently experienced this Diverse Solutions behavior. They recently added SQFT to the bottom of one of their search widgets. They did not provide a check box to remove it and/or include it. They just force include it. With the aid of Firebug, I did, however, discover the CSS to remove both the SQFT label and form box.
.dsidx-improvedsqft { /* wipes out input box*/
display: none;
}[for=idx-q-ImprovedSqFtMin] { /* wipes out label*/
display: none;
}I expect I could do the same sort of “minor” reverse engineering to make other such adjustments, but integrating dsIDXpress into WAPro is beyond my current CSS skill. For some reason, it appears to be much easier to implement into AgentPressPro though. Go figure.

Peter Salep.s. Is there anyway to go back into one of my posts to correct typos?

KeymasterHi, Peter,
It looks like you solved the issue you have with SQFT; nice work!
I don’t know why it seems easier for you to add the DiverseSolutions search to AgentPress Pro than Winning Agent though. You should be able to adjust the CSS on either of them.
No, you can’t edit a forum post. It’s OK; we make typos too. 🙂
If you have any other questions, please ask.
