Need quick help / suggestion 🙂 My IDX is all setup and I’ve got the code in the Search Bar widget.
Problem is, my Search Button is sitting below everything for some reason. Anyone know how I can fix this?
Here’s the website: http://santabarbarasummers.com
Check your style sheet (style.css). Find this code:
.IDX-qsButtonInput {
position: relative;
top: 27px;
}
and change to:
.IDX-qsButtonInput {
position: relative;
top: 0;
}
Thanks Jackie, yes, I just comment out that Top portion — it’s in the standard style.css, I will see about getting it taken out.
Ah, brilliant! Thank you both. I’m an amateur and never would have found this on my own 🙂
The way your search bar looks right now is exactly what I want mine to look like! How did you do it? I like the labels above the entry fields, and the size of the text input fields and everything. I can’t even get mine to leave off the MLS selection dropdown, even though I only have one MLS on the site currently!
I missed your post, but I see from your other one that you have your search bar mostly complete. That’s great!
I love the way your site looks. I just bought the theme for a client and am trying to figure out how to get the search bar to format properly rather then the standard IDX vertical placement. I made the CSS changes but to no avail.
Forum not very active it would seem.
