      No matter what I try or how many plugins I install to have the taxonomy terms show up in the correct order in the dropdown menu of my search bar, nothing works.

      How can I ensure that the terms under each taxonomy show up in the order in which I have chosen?

      Also, is there a way to say “do not hide empty fields” like many other search plugins, so terms show up even when they contain no listings?

      Hi there,

      You might want to have a look in the AgentPress Listings plugin support forum (they authored this plugin used in the Winning Agent Pro theme).

      I found a post with instructions for changing the sort order of taxonomies. FYI – if you go this route make sure and backup your changes since a plugin update would overwrite them.
